subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today launched a sale for
travel to all of the airline's destinations with fares starting as low as
$49*. Travelers may purchase these sale fares at
http://www.airtran.com or via
AirTran Airways' reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN. For Spanish, call

The special fares are available for purchase through May 15, 2008, and are
good for travel through November 5, 2008. Off-peak fares are valid for travel
on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Peak fares are valid for travel on
Monday, Thursday and Friday. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included
in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip
purchase or an overnight stay.

*All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable and a $75 fee per
person applies to any change made after purchase, plus any applicable increase
in airfare. Reservations may be obtained or changed through an AirTran Airways
Telephone Reservations Center for an additional $10 per person. Ten-day
advance purchase required. Tickets must be purchased by May 15th, 2008. Sale
fares are valid for travel through November 5, 2008. Lowest sale fares are
valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Additional sale fares
are valid for travel on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Seats are limited,
subject to availability, and may not be available on all flights. Blackout
dates are as follows: June 27, 2008 through June 28, 2008 and July 3, 6, 2008.
Service to/from San Antonio begins June 11, 2008. Fares, routes, and
schedules are subject to change without notice. Fares do not include per-
segment tax of $3.50. A segment is defined as one takeoff and one landing. The
September 11th security fee of up to $10 is not included. Airport Passenger
