PITTSBURGH, March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- MHF Logistical Solutions, Inc. (MHF- LS), a leading provider of packaging, transportation and logistics, announced today that Mitch Luciano has been appointed as president of the company's new brokerage division, Magellan Transport Logistics.

"Mitch brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in rail/truck transportation, logistics, and operations," said Tom Piatak, President and Chief Executive Officer of MHF-LS. "He will be instrumental in developing our full scope of services, customers and personnel recruitment that will help diversify MHF-LS' revenue streams and customer base."

"We are launching the first brokerage office for 2008 on April 7, and it will be located within the parent company's corporate offices. Shortly after the new corporate-based Pittsburgh office is up and running, we plan to open three-to-five more offices in 2008, and they will be located throughout the country based on personnel, service expansion and our customers' needs and requirements," added Luciano.

Magellan Transport Logistics will provide customers with a complete logistics solution through a single point of contact, handling truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal, air, international, warehousing, and supply- chain management.

"I am very excited about joining MHF-LS and proud to be given the opportunity to be part of such a great team in developing Magellan Transport Logistics," said Luciano. "Through skillful team efforts and the recruitment of talented logistics professionals, we will provide our customers and carrier partners a highly motivated and service driven team that will further enhance the already advanced services of MHF-LS."

Before joining Magellan Transport Logistics, Luciano was president and chief operating officer of 4 Elements, Inc., a Bentonville, Arkansas-based global third-party logistics company. Prior to 4 Elements, Luciano also held roles with NYK Logistics Americas and CH Robinson, including branch manager, executive director of business development, and vice president of reverse logistics.
