Frontier Airlines Reports Preliminary Traffic for March 2007

DENVER, April 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced preliminary traffic results for March 2007. Revenue passenger miles increased 11.5 percent to 821,335,000 for March 2007 from the same period last year. Available seat miles increased 17.9 percent to 1,068,833,000 for March 2007 from the same period last year. This resulted in a load factor for March 2007 of 76.8 percent, a decrease of 4.5 points from March 2006, when the airline reported a load factor of 81.3 percent. The airline carried 866,004 passengers during March 2007, a 12.2 percent increase from March 2006. The airline reported passenger yield of 11.72 cents for the month of March 2007, an increase of 5.7 percent from the same period last year. Its passenger revenue per available seat mile was 9.01 cents, down .01 or 0.1 percent from March 2006. For the month of March 2007, the airline's average length of haul decreased 0.7 percent to 948 miles as compared to the same period last year.
