Rotorcraft Central to Realigned 'One Kaman'

Kaman Aerospace Group (Booth N4112) sees rotorcraft as a key market as it realigns and expands aerospace operations to help operators benefit from its growing global design, manufacturing, testing and tooling capabilities and highly experienced engineering workforce.
Kaman’s helicopters include the K-Max utility helicopter, maritime SH-2G Super Seasprite and the unmanned K-Max—which is a finalist for the 2012 Collier Trophy—developed with Lockheed Martin to resupply U.S. Marine Corps forces in Afghanistan.

“One Kaman” brings all Kaman aerospace operations under Greg Steiner, president of Kaman Aerospace, and separates the organization into two segments, Aerosystems and Engineered Products. Led by President Jim Larwood, Aerosystems’ primary operating functions will be focused on air vehicles and MRO, composite structures, tooling, engineering services, metallics and assembly. Engineered Products reports to Steiner and includes the Specialty Bearings & Engineered Products and Fuzing & Precision Products divisions.
