Search Continues for Survivors of Scotland Crash

A Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma operated by Bond Offshore Helicopters crashed into the North Sea 15 miles off Peterhead in northeast Scotland on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Royal Air Force officials report the aircraft was en route from a BP oil platform to a second location when the pilot radioed a mayday call. The helicopter then vanished from radar. The twin-engine helicopter carried two crewmembers and 14 passengers. As of this writing, RAF rescuers have recovered eight bodies. The search continues for the other occupants.
