Ray Glennon is currently the Vice President and Corporate Secretary of RTCA, Inc.  RTCA, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit corporation that serves as the catalyst for consensus-driven modernization of the air traffic management system by providing a venue for aviation community collaboration on contemporary operational, technology, policy, investment, procedural, and equipage issues. The organization is utilized by the FAA as a Federal Advisory Committee.

In his current position, Ray is directly involved in all aspects of RTCA's service to the aviation community.  Among other responsibilities, he provides senior staff expertise and serves as Secretary for the Air Traffic Management Advisory Committee (ATMAC) and its Requirements & Planning and ADS-B Work Groups.

Specifically related to this webinar, Ray brings his perspective and experience as the Secretary of the RTCA NextGen Mid-Term Implementation Task Force.  

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Ray has over 35 years of management, policy, business development, and technical experience with over two decades of directly related aviation experience. He is a recognized leader in civil aviation collaborative initiatives and standardization.

Prior to joining RTCA in 2008, Ray had a successful 21-year career at ARINC. He served as Vice President, ARINC Industry Activities from 2001 until 2007. While at ARINC, he was as a member of the ICAO Air Traffic Management Operational Concept Panel (ATMCP) and its successor, ATM Requirements and Performance Panel (ATMRPP) and the RTCA Program Management Committee.
