UK Royals Receive Sikorsky S-76C++

Sikorsky Aircraft has handed over a VIP-configured S-76C++ to the Royal Travel Office, which will use the helicopter to transport members of the Royal Family in the UK. The S-76++ comes equipped with upgrades to the engines, interior and avionics, as well as a health and usage monitoring system (HUMS). Capt. Christopher Pittaway, manager and chief pilot for The Queen’s Helicopter Flight, notes that the S-76C++ meets the mission requirements of the Royal household, including a quiet cabin and low carbon footprint.
