David Rogers
David Rogers has joined Elbit Systems of America, subsidiary of Elbit Systems, Ltd., as the company’s senior vice president of operations. Rogers has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Industrial Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology as well as an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University. He brings more than 20 years of experience in management, operations, engineering, and business development roles. In his new role, Rogers will oversee operations of Elbit sites in Texas, New Hampshire, Alabama, Virginia, Mississippi and Florida.

The National EMS Pilots Association (NEMSPA) has appointed Kurt Williams as the association’s next active president. As a former military aviator with almost 30 years of aviation experience, Williams has worked with PHI Air Medical Group and has been a part of the NEMPSA board of directors for two years. Williams holds an MBA from the University of Missouri.

Avinco has appointed former Airbus Helicopters Director Mike Richardson to commercial director. Richardson has more than 42 years of industry experience and was previously the director of aftermarket sales at Airbus Helicopters (formerly American Eurocopter) where he was responsible for the secondary market in the U.S. He has also held various management positions on an operator level in both commercial and government operations, logistics, completions and maintenance within the company. With Avinco, Richardson will oversee commercial and technical activities in the U.S. and Canada.

Summit Aviation Group has appointed Walter Heneghan vice president, Health, Safety and Environmental Protection for Summit Air and Summit Helicopters. The company has also appointed Todd Tomecek as vice president, Business Development for Summit Helicopters. Both Heneghan and Tomecek have previously held positions with Canadian Helicopters Ltd.
