The Honorable Tom Ridge has joined AgustaWestland
Philadelphia Corporation’s Board of Directors. Ridge, the 43rd Governor of Pennsylvania and the first Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, has significant public and private sector expertise that will allow him to take an active role in advocating for and raising the profile of AgustaWestland
Philadelphia Corporation in Pennsylvania and across the United States. Ridge currently heads the strategic consulting company Ridge Global where, as CEO, he manages leading experts as they work with businesses and governments to manage risk, global trade, and strategic planning, among other key organizational issues.
Erickson Incorporated President and CEO Udo Rieder will retire from the company on March 31. The board of directors has appointed Jeff Roberts as the new president and CEO of Erickson, effective April 1. Roberts has a long and distinguished career in the aviation industry. Most recently he was group president at CAE, Inc., the global leader in modeling, simulation and training for civil aviation and defense. Roberts was previously president and CEO of SimuFlite Training International, Inc., a provider of pilot flight simulation training owned by GE Capital. He also held executive positions in a number of other aviation companies.
| Ron Orndoff
has promoted Ron Orndoff to regional sales manager in North America, responsible for overseeing marketing and sales activities within the Northeast region. Orndoff was recently announced as the new RSM overseeing the Midwest region, but has very strong ties to the Northeast with Bell Helicopter
customers and operators. Orndoff brings over 30 years of aviation experience to Bell Helicopter’s North American team. Eight of those years were spent in Bell Helicopter’s Northeast U.S. region providing customer support and services as a Customer Service Engineer. Orndoff began his career in the U.S. Army Aviation branch, and is proud to have experience in both the military and commercial markets. This inspired a skill set that focuses on extensive technical and customer success oriented service.
Linda Cook has decided not to stand for reelection to the Boeing board of directors when her current term ends in April.
Last July, Cook became a managing director at EIG Global Energy Partners and was appointed chief executive officer of Harbour Energy Ltd., a newly formed EIG company. Boeing Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jim McNerney called Cook a “model director” who has played a leadership role on Boeing’s board with four committee assignments over 11 years. Cook, 56, joined the Boeing board in 2003. She serves on the audit committee and chairs the finance committee.
