FAI Awards Around-the-World Helicopter Duo

The Fédération Aéronautique International (FAI) has given its 2009 De la Vaulx medal to pilots Scott Kasprowicz and Steve Sheik, who piloted an AgustaWestland Grand around the world in record-breaking fashion. The helicopter flight originated from New York on Aug. 7, 2008 and took 11 days, seven hours and five minutes to circumnavigate the globe. FAI honored the pilots during an Oct. 8 ceremony in Korea.
