has extended the deadline for submissions to its Vision Zero Safety award until Friday, Sept. 11. The award, which honors efforts for aviation safety in the air medical community, grants up to $10,000 to the winner. It is the third year of the award, with PHI winning in 2007 and the University of Chicago Medical Center taking home last year’s top prize. All members and programs of the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) are eligible for the award.
