Apache AH-6i Lifts Off

Boeing has conducted the first flight of its AH-6i light attack/reconnaissance helicopter. The 36-minute trial took place on Sept. 16 at Boeing Rotorcraft Systems in Mesa, Ariz. Testing included flight characteristics, handling and maneuverability. Al Winn, vice president of Apache programs, says that pilots have performed multiple tests since the initial flight in September.
