Software Provider Achieves ISO Certification

Albuquerque, N.M.-based Ultramain Systems Inc. (USI) has obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification from Orion. USI develops software for asset maintenance, MRO, integrated logistics, military and other transportation-related applications, such as electronic flight bag (EFB) software for aircraft cockpits. Mark McCausland, USI’s president, notes that the ISO designation allows a more structured process “under which we continuously evaluate and improve our business practices… Quality improvement is dynamic, not static.”
