PZL Completes First S-70i Assembly

Sikorsky’s first S-70i, an international version of the Black Hawk, is now fully assembled at PZL Mielec in Poland. The helicopter will undergo ground and qualification checks at Sikorsky’s Flight Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. before flight tests begin later this year at PZL Mielec. The companies expect to produce around 20 S-70i Black Hawks annually starting in 2012.
