Northrop Grumman Wins Fire Scout Contract
The U.S. Navy has awarded Northrop Grumman a $28-million contract in support of the MQ-8B Fire Scout. The agreement covers non-recurring engineering support, obsolescence efforts and software sustainment, as well as future software development. The bulk of the work will be carried out in San Diego, Calif., with an estimated 10 percent taking place at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Maryland.
