Malcor of Thales Resigns

Jean-Georges Malcor, senior vice president at Thales, has resigned, effective Dec. 31, 2009, to accept the CEO position at CGGVeritas, a France-based geophysical equipment and services company. Malcor, who previously was senior vice president of Thales' aerospace division, will continue in his current position as senior vice president with responsibilities over continental Europe, Turkey, Russia, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Latin America, during the reminder of 2009, according to a Thales statement released Monday. Malcor was named head of the aerospace division in January and then moved to his current position a few months later.
