Police Helo Forced to Land Near DC School
A Washington, DC elementary school was evacuated Thursday after a Prince George’s County, Maryland police MD520N made an emergency landing. Davis Elementary School on G Street served as a landing zone after the crew reported a mechanical problem with Air 1’s systems. No one was injured in the incident, and the school was evacuated as a precaution. Details have not yet emerged about what went wrong with the helicopter.
