GE Aviation, H+S Aviation Expand Engine Overhaul Agreement
GE Aviation is expanding its CT7 Engine Overhaul Subcontract Agreement (EOSA) with Portsmouth, U.K.-based engine repair company H+S Aviation. The expanded agreement calls for H+S to provide repair and overhaul services on all CT7-5A and CT7-9B engines.
The 1900-shaft-horsepower CT7 engine family powers the Saab 340 turboprop aircraft, first entering service in 1983.
"GE Aviation and H+S Aviation have worked together for more than a decade, helping CT7 operators achieve an excellent operational service record," said Paul McElhinney, president and chief executive officer of service operations at GE Aviation. "H+S Aviation's track record on the maintenance, repair and overhaul of these engines makes them an ideal partner moving forward."
