CONECT Begins Flight Tests

Boeing has completed the initial test flight of its combat network communications technology (CONECT) system, which will allow B-52H pilots to send and receive digital information in real time. CONECT’s first flight took place at Edwards AFB in mid-January. The three-hour trail included system build-up, interphone and communications checks. The testing will continue through February.
