Bombardier Expands Q400 Maintenance, CRJ Training Agreement

Bombardier is expanding the maintenance capacity for its Q400 turboprops at its largest service center in Tucson, Ariz. The expansion opens three new lines of maintenance at the Tucson facility designated for Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft.

“Our capacity in Tucson has continued to expand on both the business and commercial aircraft fronts as we continue to grow deeper roots in the community," said Stan Younger, vice president of aircraft service centers at Bombardier.

The company also selected training services provider FlightPath International (FPI) as the Authorized Technical Training Provider (ATTP) for its CRJ Series commercial aircraft and Challenger business jets. Under the new ATTP agreement, FPI will provide aircraft technical training courses for CRJ, Challenger 850, Challenger 870 and Challenger 890 operators as required.
