ATR has added German aircraft maintenance company Rheinland Air Service to its network of authorized maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities. The company is the first independently owned MRO company to join ATR's network of partner maintenance centers.
RAS plans on constructing a second large aircraft maintenance hangar to support the "growing ATR customer base in Europe," according to Walter Lange, managing director at RAS. The company did not announce a location for the new hangar.
“In the coming months, we are going to continue to develop the MRO network by selecting other maintenance companies worldwide to increase proximity to our customers," said Lilian Braylé, director of product support and services at ATR.
