Singapore Airlines Firms Orders for A380s, A350XWBs

Airbus said Singapore Airlines confirmed its order for an additional 5 A380-800 and 20 A350-900 aircraft, following a $7.5 billion agreement for the same deal in October.

Singapore Airlines currently has 19 A380 planes in service, making it the second largest customer for the wide-body plane.

“This second repeat order from one of the largest A380 operators today is a great endorsement” said John Leahy, chief operating officer, customers at Airbus. More
