Eurocopter Gets Involved with MRJ

EADS subsidiary Eurocopter has inked a deal with Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp. to design and build aircraft doors for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ), which is a family of 70- to 90-seat jets currently being developed. Eurocopter’s business center for airplane door systems in Donauwörth, Germany will spearhead the effort. Passenger, service and cargo doors are included in the agreement.
