EMS Helicopter Goes Down Near Reno

An Aerospatiale AS350 in operation with Susanville, Calif.-based Mountain Lifeflight crashed on Saturday near the California-Nevada state line north of Reno. The pilot, a flight nurse and a paramedic were killed in the accident. FAA has indicated that the pilot sent out a mayday call just before the crash. Mountain Lifeflight has identified the pilot as 39-year-old James Bradshaw and the passengers as Clinton Reger, 40, and Christopher Ritz, 37.
