British Airways, ALC Sign Lease Agreements for 777s

British Airways signed a 10-year operating lease agreement with Los Angeles-based aircraft leasing firm Air Lease Corporation (ALC) for two Boeing 777-300ERs.

ALC said the new 777s would be delivered in May and July 2014. The two planes are part of a 2011 order between ALC and Boeing for five 777-300ERs and 14 737-800s.

The remaining 777-300ERs are scheduled for delivery in 2015. More
