Rolls-Royce Trent 772B engines power Tampa’s new A330, and AviancaTaca is looking to use the aircraft to expand the carrier’s presence in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador and Uruguay.
“With the capacity and range to profitably serve the growing cargo markets of Latin America, the A330-200F flies more payload significantly further while offering lower cost-per-tonne than its nearest competitor,” said John Leahy, COO of Airbus. “Airbus is pleased that Tampa Cargo will be the first in the region to benefit from the exceptional economics that the A330-200F offers.” More
