Embraer will begin producing the NetJets Signature Series Phenom 300s at its Melbourne, Fla., manufacturing plant in 2014. The Phenom 300 includes the Prodigy Tough Flight Deck, an avionics system based on the Garmin 3000 platform.

“The NetJets delivery is a significant milestone in the Phenom 300 program," said Ernest Edwards, president of Embraer Executive Jets. "NetJets’ $1 billion order came just a year after the aircraft entered service. It was a significant validation that Embraer Executive Jets had delivered to the market an aircraft that meets NetJets increasingly demanding requirements for safety, comfort, economics, performance and reliability. We are especially pleased that we will begin producing the NetJets’ Signature Series Phenom 300s on the Melbourne production line in 2014.”
