Midcoast Boosts Mobile Maintenance

St. Louis, Mo.-based Midcoast Aviation is expanding its group of mechanics assigned to on-site maintenance tasks, including inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT) and engine/avionics troubleshooting. In the past, the Jet Aviation subsidiary has offered the service on a request-only basis, according to Morris Smith, director of technical services. “Because operators have found the service so beneficial it just made sense to expand and let all our customers know mobile maintenance teams are available to come to them,” he says.
