LBAS Completes Global Express Overhaul

Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) has finished its first major overhaul on a Bombardier Global Express in Europe. The company performed an 8C-check for a Spanish hotel operator. An 8C-check is due after 10 years of service, and is comparable to a D-check for a commercial jet. Landing gear overhaul, structure and system inspections, modifications and cabin refurbishment are all part of the 8C-check.
