Jet Aviation Modifies PATS Aircraft

In partnership with Georgetown, Del.-based PATS Aircraft, Jet Aviation has completed modifications on more than 20 Boeing Business Jets to help meet compliance with FAA’s Special FAR 88. Jet Aviation MRO sites in Basel and Geneva, Switzerland are currently working on three more aircraft to bring them in line with SFAR 88, which regulates auxiliary fuel tank installation and maintenance. The FAA rule has an implementation deadline of Dec. 16, 2009.
