Gulfstream Earns Maintenance Approvals from Cayman Islands, South Korea
Gulfstream’s Appleton, Wis.-based service center has been granted approved maintenance organization (AMO) designations from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands and the Korean Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs.
The authorizations allow aircraft registered in the Cayman Islands and South Korea to undergo maintenance, repairs and inspections at the Appleton facility. The Cayman Islands certifications apply to all Gulfstream aircraft, while the South Korean certification applies to G550s.
"The Cayman Islands registry continues to grow, as does South Korea's, so these are important authorizations for Appleton," said Mark Burns, president of product support at Gulfstream.
The Appleton facility also has international maintenance approvals from aviation authorities in Bermuda, Canada, China, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. More
