Crane, Duncan Partner on SmartStem STC

Lynnwood, Wash.-based Crane Aerospace & Electronics has inked a letter of intent with Duncan Aviation to jointly pursue supplemental type certificates (STCs) for Crane’s SmartStem wireless tire pressure indication system on business aircraft. Crane has already received STCs to equip the Cessna Citation X and Sovereign with SmartStem, and plans to expand to other models under the partnership.
