Piaggio Launches Middle East Center

Italian aircraft maker Piaggio Aero has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT) to establish a regional maintenance facility at Adu Dhabi Intl Airport (AUH). The center, scheduled to open by the end of this year, will offer inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and airframe, engine, avionics and systems repairs for P.180 Avanti operators in the Middle East. An inventory of parts and an AOG team will also be based at AUH.
