STC Issued For King Air Upgrade

StandardAero has obtained FAA supplemental type certification for a King Air 200 engine retrofit program. The upgrade involves replacing existing Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-41s with PT6A-42s. Helping to achieve the STC over the course of three months was StandardAero’s Designated Alternation Station (DAS) in Springfield, Ill. The launch customer for the retrofit program was P&S Investments and the Staley Family of Little Rock, Ark.
