2009 Naverus PBN Summit
Nancy Graham, director of the ICAO Air Navigation Bureau, Hank Krakowski , COO of the FAA Air Traffic Organization, and Greg Russell, CEO of Airservices Australia, are three of the prominent air traffic management leaders who will speak at the third annual Naverus PBN Summit in Seattle, October 1-2. The PBN Summit is a two day international forum focused on making a business case for the implementation of Performance•based Navigation (PBN). Greg Russell, CEO of Airservices Australia will set the tone for the Summit on opening day, when he will address the group on Australia’s decision and commitment to complete a nationwide PBN transformation over the next five years. The Summit also will feature prominent speakers from Alaska Airlines, the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) and Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO) and other leading airlines and aviation organizations. This year’s program focuses on making a business case for aircraft operators and air traffic management organizations to adopt PBN. The program features interactive sessions designed to address PBN topics relevant to a broad spectrum of aviation stakeholders and to share strategies and techniques for deriving environmental and economic benefit.
