Since 1998, Mike Brenner has been the Director of Investigations and Qualifying Principal for CSA, LLC. This licensed and bonded agency undertakes the full spectrum of private/corporate investigations and security challenges, providing sensible and effective solutions. In his capacity as Director of Investigations, he has managed comprehensive financial, fraud and criminal investigative casework, coordinated the completion of extensive background investigations and consulted on countless physical security issues.
Brenner began his career in 1984 as a Naval Aviator/Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy, flying worldwide anti-submarine warfare missions in the P-3C Orion aircraft.
After military service, Mike accepted a position as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer within the Treasury Department's USCS Drug Interdiction Program. Assignments consisted of the investigation, location, tracking and apprehension of narcotic smugglers, gun traffickers and money launderers throughout the Continental United States, Caribbean, Central and South America.
Mike was then appointed as Aviation Group Supervisor overseeing the full range of administrative, operational, budgetary, legal and human resource concerns for an entire Law Enforcement Aviation Unit. From October 2003 to May of 2008, Mike held a position on the National Security Committee for ALPA (Air Line Pilots Association). As a Committee Member and Team Leader of the NORAD/Intercept Project, he worked with applicable federal agencies and airline industry constituents, drafted security access policy and consulted on numerous critical security issues.
Mike is the recipient of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer's Assoc. Medal of Valor (Heroism), United States Customs "Ace" and "Top Shot" awards, and the Navy Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He possesses a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Aviation Management and is currently licensed as a Private Investigator. With decades of experience, Mike has the knowledge and insight to harmonize the complex requirements and subtleties of both the aviation and security disciplines, providing real solutions that confront the industry's security challenges.
