Bill Ruhl is manager of Business Development for Astronautics Corporation of America, based in Milwaukee. He has an extensive background in business development, marketing and sales, with over 20 years of domestic and international experience for Fortune 100 corporations.

His background includes cockpit displays, satellite and ground-based communication systems, data link management, radio navigation, landing systems, flight control, safety systems and weather radar, in addition to marketing and supporting Astronautics product lines that include primary flight instruments, engine indicating systems, mission/display systems, multifunctional displays, and network servers.

Bill has been actively involved in the development and marketing of Astronautics Electronic Flight Bag products, including a single processor system that supports Type A/B applications, a dual processor system that supports Type A/B/C applications, and the Universal Cockpit Display of Traffic Information (UCDTI).

The UCDTI application is configurable, can present airport moving map with or without runway situation awareness/own-ship position/altering, and can be expanded to support ACSS Surface Area Movement Management (SAMM), runway guidance, CDTI assisted Visual Separation (CAVS) and Merging and Spacing.
