Bill Carey has 25 years of experience as a business, technology and aviation journalist. He served as managing editor of Avionics magazine in a previous stint, and as European Bureau Chief for Avionics and Rotor & Wing magazines, based in London, from 1993 to 1995. He was a recipient of the British Royal Aeronautical Society "Aerospace Journalist of the Year" award in the business aircraft category in 1997. This year, he served as one of five judges in the avionics category. Carey is a 1982 graduate of Syracuse University, and holds a master's degree in journalism from American University in Washington, D.C.
