Avionics Magazine is proud to announce the Avionics Women in Technology Awards 2012.


These awards honor Women for their work in aviation electronics engineering, research and development in commercial, business and military aviation, and in air traffic management. Additionally, these awards will highlight a company that demonstrates vision and leadership in promoting Women in avionics technology roles.

An advisory panel comprised of industry leaders will select the recipients of these awards: 

 Avionics Women of the Year Award


The honoree is chosen for durable contributions to the global aviation electronics market, specifically in the areas of technology and innovation, over the course of her career. Nominations can include women from the military, air traffic management, commercial aviation, and business and general aviation sectors.
 

 Women in Technology Corporate Award


This award will showcase an extraordinary company that is promoting innovative women in technology through training, education, career development and mentoring.
 

 Emerging Leader Award


This award will be presented to a rising professional woman in a technology field, emerging as a thought leader in a particular avionics technology.
