[Avionics Today 06-16-2015] Airbus Helicopters, Vector Aerospace, and Rockwell Collins have entered into an agreement to jointly develop and market the Pro Line Fusion integrated avionics solution for Airbus Helicopters platforms. The companies will first target AS332 / 532 MK1 helicopter platforms for the upgrades, with the initial implementation slated for the summer of 2016.

The mission-specific operational profiles featured in Pro Line Fusion for helicopters include offshore platform approaches, hover in place, extended search and rescue patterns, and other critical mission capabilities. The avionics suite combines large, high-resolution displays with touch-screen operations and intuitive keypad and cursor controls that Rockwell Collins believes can meet the demands of helicopter missions.
