VSI Wins Navy JHMCS Contract
Vision Systems International (VSI), a joint venture between Elbit Systems Ltd. and Rockwell Collins, was awarded a $17.3 million contract to provide Fast Characterization Tool (FACT) hardware, integration and validation and software upgrades for the F/A-18 Joint Helmet Mounting Cueing System (JHMCS) for the U.S. Navy and the Governments of Australia, Canada, Finland and Switzerland. Work will be performed in San Jose, Calif., and is expected to be completed in October 2014.
