Univeral MFD Wins STC

Universal Avionics Systems Corp., Tucson, Ariz., was issued a Part 25 Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for its MFD-640 Multi-Function Display. Chicago Jet Group, along with Delta Engineering of New Castle, Del., was issued the STC for installation of the MFD-640 on Dassault Falcon 50 aircraft. Universal Avionics currently holds a Part 23 STC for the MFD-640. Chicago Jet Group will provide installation services of the Part 25 STC on other similarly equipped Falcon 50 aircraft.
