Transaero to Retrofit Boeing 767s With Rockwell Collins’ HDMS

Transaero Airlines is retrofitting eight of its Boeing 767s with Rockwell Collins’ PAVES High Definition Media Server (HDMS) and Entertainment Control Panel (ECP).

Rockwell Collins said installations of their in-flight entertainment solutions are currently in progress for the Moscow-based carrier.

“Rockwell Collins ECP controls the HDMS and features an easy-to-use, intuitive 16:9 high-definition touch-screen with ‘on-the-fly’ configuration control to reduce workload for the cabin crew and maintenance teams,” said Rockwell Collins in a statement.
