Thrane & Thrane Broadband System OKed
Thrane & Thrane, of Denmark, received Inmarsat Type Approval for its Aero-SB Lite cabin connectivity system. The approval will enable the system to utilize the Inmarsat SwiftBroadband service. Aero-SB Lite system provides Web, e-mail, VPN, fax and telephony on board the aircraft. It also has built-in WiFi capability and VoiP technology.
