Rockwell Collins Avionics on Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus selected Rockwell Collins to provide a suite of avionics, including MultiScan weather radar, the GLU-920 Multi-Mode Receiver and a full range of communication and navigation offerings, on six Airbus A330 aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2009. Other Rockwell Collins equipment chosen includes the ADF-900 Automatic Direction Finder, DME-900 Distance Measuring Equipment, HFS-900D High Frequency System, CPL-920D Coupling Unit, VHF-920 Very High Frequency Transceiver, GNA-910 Global Navigation Antenna, LRA-900 Low-range Radio Altimeter, RAA-700, VOR-900 VHF Omnidirectional Radio receiver, and the SAT-906 Satellite Communications System.
