Phenom 100 Receives FAA Ticket

Brazil’s Embraer announced FAA type certification of its Phenom 100 very light jet. First deliveries will begin next week.

The Phenom 100’s Prodigy Flight Deck is based on the Garmin G1000 integrated avionics suite.

FAA granted the type certificate based on the certification granted by Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) on Dec. 9, the company said. European Aviation Safety Agency certification is expected in the second quarter of 2009.
