McDonnell Douglas Nabs AESA Contract
Boeing subsidiary McDonnell Douglas won an $11.2 million order from the U.S. Navy to upgrade 210 AN/APG-79 Active Electronically Scanned Array radar to the B configuration (includes 114 retrofit and 96 production upgrades). Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and St. Louis, and is expected to be completed in September 2011.
