Lockheed Wins Two Air Force Contracts
The U.S. Air Force awarded Lockheed Martin Corporation a $9.5 thousand contract for aircraft components and accessories Wednesday, Jan. 1 and an $8 million firm-fixed-price modification on an existing contract for Foreign Military Sales Division support efforts Tuesday, Dec. 31.
The modified contract will provide a 12-month follow-on support effort to the Foreign Military Sales Peace Krypton Program for the Republic of Korea, contracted by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Sensors and Foreign Military Sales Division for completion Dec. 31, 2014.
The continued current support of the system includes field service representatives, full time equivalent workers who perform functions for the program, operation of a system depot support facility lab to simulate the same system in South Korea, software development and upgrades, various spares, obsolescence mitigation and maintenance, and upgrades of a reconnaissance system.
