The modifications are scheduled for completion in 2015.
Additionally, Lockheed Martin announced the first delivery of a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft to an African country on Thursday. The Republic of Tunisia took delivery of its first C-130J, receiving the longer fuselage or “stretched” variant of the aircraft.
Resulting from a 2010 contract, Tunisia is scheduled to receive an additional C-130J from Lockheed by 2014.
