L-3 Extends Training Contract

L-3 Communications said its Link Simulation and Training (L-3 Link) division won two contracts worth close to $70 million. L-3 Link division won a $51.1 million follow-on production contract to build five additional U.S. Army Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (AVCATT) suites. The award, which calls for L-3 Link to build AVCATT suites 16 through 20, increases total program value to $347.6 million. The second contract, a $15.2 million contract option with the U.S. Air Force, calls for L-3 to provide support for the service’s E-3 Contractor Training and Simulation Services (CTSS) program.
